With 9 kilometers in line length, "Bursa Teleferik" which is not only the longest cable car of Turkey but also of the world, was established in 1963. "Bursa Teleferik" was renovated in 2012 and the transportation line was extended from Sarialan where the forest mansions were situated to the “Hotels area” where is the winter sports center.
The central station of the cable car is the Teferruc locality in Yildirim district. The cable car which has glass from floor to ceiling and takes a journey by sitting, with 8-person, 140 standard cabins, and transporting 1500 people in an hour, also has VIP cabins that give dinner service.
The 9-km journey takes 25 minutes and the cabins arrive at stations every 19 seconds to take new passengers.
(During the current pandemic process, in line with the preferences of passengers, the cabins leave even with a single person, regardless of the number of people traveling together.)
