City Museum located between the Statue of Atatürk and the Governor’s office downtown is a city history and culture museum that reveals the development and social life of Bursa from prehistoric to present times; with sculptures, goods, maquettes, photographs, and visuals.
While the museum complex was used as the Bursa Courthouse earlier, it was transferred to the municipality and it started to provide service as a museum in 2004. In the museum consisting of two buildings with three floors alongside the permanent exhibitions, there are also periodic thematic new exhibitions.
